I woke up this morning with a skip in my step and a smile on my face that even a lack of sleep couldn't slap off...until the Wii happened...
In honor of the new Nintendo partnership with my company they decided to kick off a raging fitness competition between departments this week. IT, being the competitive junkies we are, HAVE to win of course, so I thought I would kick off some calories with a little Wii Resort Bowling. All was right with the world until after rolling my 1st strike worthy ball I extended my arm above my head in a follow through. OK just where did THOSE muscles come from and why did I piss them off? I definitely feel that resistance band workout from yesterday and let me say my muscles are definitely in a rip, repair, build mode. Yow! It all worked out in the end though, I bowled a 207! High five to that - actually, on second thought let's make it a low five until my muscles stop screaming :)
So, Day 2 of Tony's 90 day boot camp was Sweat 1-2 and Abs 100 which was about a 45 minute workout. Let me just say that Mr. Horton royally kicked me around today. Power Yoga was tough and the pace was quick. Hey, Tony did say several times if I need to hit pause to do it that he would still be there when I caught my breath. Just to test him out, I tried that pause feature a few times, okay more like 4 or 5, but who is counting! :)
I love his alternatives to things like running the X and jumps...but the alternative needs an alternative. Ha...Through some of my gasping for air moments...I seriously went looking for option 3...LOL! Sadly, option 3 is, suck it up and keep sweating :) I am happy to say I survived through it and feel great..sore, but great!
Day 2 has me looking forward to Day 3...back to sculpting tomorrow. Bring it on!
Off to cook dinner and get the rugrat ready for Dance/Tumbling class!
Keep Moving,
M E
