M E
My fellow fitness groupies and I decided that we would schedule 1 workout a week with the big man Tony together and this week we had group workout at our house tonight!  We were down 1 groupie but I bet she will be here next week, right Judy? :)

It really makes a difference when you workout in a group.  I definitely pushed myself harder and I think that my fellow teammies did too!  We were sculpting up a storm and this time I was ALL over those 7 - 7 - 7 push-ups! Wide, close, and standard, I did them ALL and didn't feel like I was dying through it.  That's score 1 for M E!

I have discovered this weird enigma with food this week.  Now that I am actually tracking my calories it is the strangest thing - I have to actually TRY to make my calories at 1200 or over every day and I feel like all I do is EAT! How on earth does that work?  Before, I bet I could swallow a good 2,000 calories without blinking and still be hungry for munchies at the end of the night.  Now, I eat every few hours and then towards the evening hours when I check my calories I find myself saying..."What? I am only at 1050 calories? Crap, I better eat something else to get my count a little higher!"...Strange things happen when you start putting HEALTHY food in and exercising everyday....

Today, I even splurged a little for dinner.  We went to Jason's Deli and I ordered off the Junior menu.  Just for the record adults CAN order off the kids menu and all the food items there have the nutritional value right on the menu.  The bonus - the portion size is actually closer to what an adult should be eating anyway!  So, I ordered the chicken quesadillas at 290 calories and under 10 grams of fat...for my side I did fresh pineapples at another whole 70 calories.  Pretty healthy for eating out anyway!

Can't believe week 1 is almost over!  I can't wait to weigh in and do my measurements...I have added something to my wish list though...I want a body fat calculator. My scale isn't fancy enough for that and the Wii Fit (which I use to get my weight and BMI) doesn't calculate body fat...

Way to go GROUPIES tonight!! Woohooo!!!!

Keep Moving,
M E

I had a ton of fun working out with y'all. I will be getting a GoWearFit armband when I can spring for it. That is very cool and it seems very accurate...
