Just finished the Power 90 - 30 minute sculpt! I definitely feel the burn in my shoulders, biceps, and quads! So my GoWear Fit armband seems to think I have only done 22 minutes of activity - which in essence may be true since it only calculates physical activity once your calorie burn is 3x that of your resting rate... BUT I will have you know that today not only did I run around from store to store running errands, but I also spent over an hour working in the blasted heat on the pool, chasing the dogs around the backyard when they ran off with something I set down, and did 30 minutes of strength training, lunges, squats, and push-ups! So 22 minutes counted or not I FEEL like I did quite a bit!
I am finally able to make it through these workouts and do full reps of everything without feeling like I will hit the floor! awesome! :) I was motivated to toss in an extra workout today with Jillian (The Biggest Loser's Last Chance Workout) but the pool took much longer than anticipated and ran out of time...there is always next time though!
I also found today the MOST comfortable shorts to work out in...I have had a hard time finding something comfy that doesn't stick, ride up, and slide up...now don't laugh...but I thought, hey why not throw on my softball sliders and workout in those...and you know what? They are awesome! They stay put, are super comfy, and feel snug against my skin. LOVE them! I am sure they are happy to stop collecting drawer dust and to serve a purpose again :)
Had yummy 3 lentil soup and a half turkey sandwich for dinner tonight. Yum!!!
Can't wait to work out with my fellow fitness groupies on Friday!!!
