Today was a "Tony Sculpt" day but I decided to toss in some extra cardio at the gym and hopped on my favorite cardio machine - the Elliptical!  I did the fat burn program and it said I should keep my heart rate at 123.  OK so it is pretty bad I guess when you just get started on the thing and are only 30 seconds in and have already surpassed the target heart rate.  It was TOUGH to get my heart rate down low enough for the machine to be happy with it.  I felt like I was crawling at less than 3 miles an hour.  But, I managed to get a great workout.  :)

The pool is finally getting there and I think will be ready for the weekend.  Woooohoo!!!!

Hit the Tony Sculpt workout today and I have to say that my muscles are sore! Lara and I decided to try the Creatine Powder and bought some at the cafe while we were at Lifetime Fitness.  We shall see how it works.

I have to say that I also discovered I can find healthy food to eat no matter where I go! We went to Red Lobster today as a special treat for Cristian (he got to pick a place for dinner) and we asked our server if they have a nutritional guide.  Low and behold - they do and they keep it in the manager office.  So he brought us the guide which had every single item on their menu and the whole breakdown.  I know you are dying to know - just how many calories are in those delicious addictive cheddar biscuits so I won't keep you in suspense...How does 160 calories a piece sound? I ordered the Broiled Seafood Platter which had scallops, shrimp scampi, and crab stuffed flounder and the whole dinner was only 280 calories and 11 carbs! So my meal was less calories than 2 biscuits! My side was broccoli which was only 45 calories.  It felt so great to eat out but eat healthy!  Yum!

It has become routine for us to not order anything from anywhere that we haven't seen on a nutritional guide first. I am pretty picky on what I expend calories on these days.. :)

Hope everyone else had a great week too.  Keep pushing yourself a little more each day and you will be surprised at what you can do at the end of the week!

Keep Moving,
M E
