This week I have managed to play tennis every single day and it has been one hell of a workout. So far Lara and I have played 49 games of tennis and I have won 2 full matches! I am hanging onto my winnings for a big trade though...I am thinking a weekend of pampering would be nice :)
Yesterday we went to Sports Authority to see if I could find some new shoes since mine are on their last leg but no such luck. We did, however, walk into one hell of a tennis racquet's sale and ended up with a new Power Series Head Crossbow! It was marked down from $239 to $39.97! How awesome is that? I did a happy dance the whole way to the cashier. I'm sure it was great entertainment for "James". LOL!
A couple days ago I spoke with a friend about Shakeology from Beach Body. She has been on it for quite some time, is a beach body coach, and also teaches fitness classes and boot camp at 24 hour fitness. After telling her I don't the whole shake thing she brought over some and made Lara and I a shake to try along with a pamphlet on the benefits of the shake. I have to admit that it tasted WAY better than I thought it would. It had no after taste at all and literally tasted like a real chocolate milkshake. So I did some research on it and not only is this thing packed with 70 nutrients and is crazy healthy for you, it also flushes out toxins, aids in better digestion, is low on the glycemic index, lowers cholesterol and risk of heart disease. So, I found out that Beach Body has a thing going on right now where you can become a coach for free. after 30 days they charge you $14 for your coach website which gives you access to all kinds of fitness tools and such and also the ability to earn commission if others go through your site to many any beach body purchase, etc...i didn't sign up to make money...it was much more selfish than that. I want the 25% discount you get as a coach so now if I order anything at all including the DVD workouts I get 25% off the cost. Shakeology is $119 a month (30 day supply) but with my discount its $89 which is nice. Even with my coach website cost it is still cheaper than buying it at $119 and I get free shipping and 2 workout dvd's free. Nice. I placed my order and it shipped yesterday. Can't wait to start replacing my breakfast with this stuff. I have heard now from 2 different people that did the P90X and have been doing Shakeology with it that it also eliminated their migraines! Now, if it can do that for me....I would be in heaven!
My friend and fellow coach is going to grab Turbo Jam and Turbo Fire for me to borrow to see if I like them. If I do, then those will be my next purchase. I loved Tony Horton's Power 90 but the Turbo workouts use HIIT and look like fun!
Tomorrow morning a workout buddy of ours is coming over at 8:30am and we are all hitting the tennis courts! Bring it on!!
