I have finally gotten around to loading Lightroom 3 & Photoshop CS5 Extended back on my laptop, woot! The other day while the dogs were inside playing with Cristian I decided to try out my new Lightsphere and took a few shots. All I can say is I am in love! It is SO awesome! I didn't use any of the domes or filters just the Lightsphere itself and it diffuses the lighting so perfectly. It is a snap to put on the Speedlight too.
Here are a couple of my favorite shots:

Cristian was so excited to have pics with him and "his puppy" Sabrina. The bond between that boy and his dog is inspiring. Of course it was a circus to take pics of just him and her when I had 2 other giant dogs chasing and jumping on me :)
After arm day at boot camp on Thursday I was really feeling sore on Friday. It is amazing how 1 minute of reps with just 5 pound weights can feel like I am bench pressing my 7 year old after a solid 30 seconds! My body is in sad shape for me to hurt like this every workout. I sure hope it gets better soon. Today my legs aren't sore anymore from the Tues boot camp but my arms are still a little sore. Sunday I will feel like a million dollars and just in time for my 4:30 personal training session. Woohoo! The pain of progress, eh?
I found out today that Eureka Springs is forecasting RAIN on Saturday evening. I am praying that the weather changes to anything else but rain. I am NOT looking forward to photographing a wedding out in nature while it is raining buckets not to mention I want Nesha's day to have some pretty sunshine :) I will be weather.com's most frequent guest until Thursday night! Ha! I get my 2 lenses Wed, so that is exciting. I cannot wait to shoot with the 17-55mm f2.8 lens. That is one SWEET piece of glass. :) My new Lightsphere is going to make those wedding portraits look so great because it does such a great job of balancing the harshness of flash and filling in the shadows. Will be an adventure either way...rain or shine.
Cheers,
M E
