Jillian is a whole new species of TOUGH in her 30 Day Shred workout.  We did Level 1 this evening and it whooped my butt.  It was like she could read my mind when she started yelling at me through the screen "don't you DARE quit", "no breaks", "don't even think about stopping...no resting", "NO stopping, keep jumping", "MOVE your butt", "If 400 pound people can do jumping jacks for 2 minutes so can you"...

The workout was only 20 minutes but it felt like twice that! Wow...what a workout.

I had high hopes for the day today...Leslie's "Walk/Jog" 2.5 mile 30 minute workout in the am, another cardio in the afternoon, and hot yoga class at Lifetime Fitness at 7.  Well...our ferret, Niko, passed away today and I just couldn't bring myself out of my sad state to get off my butt.  I did my am workout but had a terrible dinner (Chuy's) and then started to get out of my funk and bought a couple new Jillian workouts and did the 20 minute Shred workout...Not exactly the HIGH calorie burn for the day I was looking for but it was the best I could muster for today...

I have burned 2281 calories so far today and still have a little over 2 hours to go...Hopefully that number will kick up over 2500...

Tomorrow is a NEW day...

I miss you sweet Niko...
