Just when I thought I couldn't possibly move my legs anymore, I managed to go another 2 1/2 miles yesterday!  I guess it really goes to show how much more capable your body is than you think it is.  After a long and stressful day at work yesterday I came home and put on my workout clothes and popped in the 3 mile power walk DVD.  My calves were still tight and sore from the Jillian workouts the day before but I was determined to make it through this 3 mile workout and get my calorie burn up there.

Mile 1 - Felt great...I thought, "Hey, I can totally do this".
Mile 2 - Definitely was burning at a high calorie rate...all I could think of was..."My legs feel like they are going to fall off, I don't know if I can make it to mile 3".
Mile 3 - I was really struggling and wondering if I would make it to cool down before I dropped...
Cool down - Felt so great that even though I wanted to quit, was hurting like hell, and didn't think I would make it through the 45 minute workout, I DID IT!  Well, I was so pumped about making it through what felt impossible that I decided to pop in the 2 1/2 mile walk/jog workout too.

In the end, I did 5.5 miles in 1 hour and 15 minutes.  It didn't matter how sore my legs were I was feeling so great about what I accomplished I felt like I was floating on my toes :)

Had a yummy dinner and a plate of cut up fruit for dessert.  Capped out yesterday at burning around 2600 calories and eating just under 1400.

Out with the fat...in with the muscle!!!

    Awesome job chubby buddy...You were really rocking it during the walk! I LOVE working out with you. You have so much determination and do not give up. I have to really push to keep up with you! Rock on sister girl!
