Today I managed to run for 8 minutes without falling over from oxygen deprivation, ha.  In training Lara and I did 4 circuits of two minute runs.  I'll tell you something though - after killer squats, jumping rope, kick outs, lunges, squats with side kicks, etc...running for 2 minutes was no easy task.  My legs felt like they were going to give out around circuit 2 :)  I am starting to believe the old saying of your body can go alot further than your mind thinks it can because my mind was telling me to take a break about 25 minutes into the 60 minute workout.

I have felt so lost since I returned my Bodybugg.  I don't understand what it is about the Bodybugg that makes my arm just break out yet the Body Media band which is made by the same company doesn't.  Lara's Body Media band was stolen from her suitcase during our trip home from Florida in November.  That was when we "upgraded" to the Bluetooth enabled Bodybugg's.  Well, this morning I re-activated my Body Media band and slapped it on and all is now right with the world.  :)  I ordered Lara the new model band with the display clip on and should have that for her tomorrow.  During the training session today I burned 417 calories.  Now that is something to smile about!

I haven't uploaded my data for the day yet but I had burned 2400 calories several hours ago when I had last checked my display.  Since I capped my day out at 1320 calories I can proudly say that I met my 1,000 calorie deficit today, woot!

Tomorrow Lara and I are going to do our 20 minute routine from the couch to 5k program.  It will be a LONG 20 minutes, but the good things are almost always the hardest to come by so I can't complain.  I plan on doing the running thing in the morning so that I can have the rest of my day to burn calories.  We are going to have lunch with a friend and her family, hit up a local art show of some kind, and then see the kids movie about the Easter Bunny.  Will be fun. :)

I feel like today was a day of accomplishment.  To top my day off I also finally finished processing all the wedding pictures for Nesha as well.  I ended up with 702 pictures.  Goodness!  Some of them though are duplicates in the sense that I took a full body shot and then zoomed in and did a close up so that number is a little on the skewed side.

I am exhausted and am going to hit the sack.  I feel like that truck driving school commercial - "are you sick and tired of being sick and tired?" ha... Not so much the sick but definitely the tired.  I am getting too old to run off a few hours of sleep a night.  I need to master the skill of selective amnesia, then I can sleep soundly like snory 1 and snory 2 over here.  :)  Since I am on such an "accomplishment" role, maybe one day soon I can also sleep like a normal person.  Doubtful, but hey...I can dream.  :)

Cheers,
M E
