I feel like I have gotten myself back on track and on the healthy road!  Today was completely hectic.  The work day was really long and not too long after that we had to get Cristian off to baseball practice.  I had promised him that today we would take him for a bike ride to the park and let him hit the playground so even though we didn't get home until almost 7pm, we grabbed the bike and headed out...Lara and I decided to walk laps around the little track that surrounds the playground while he played.  I figured better to be active doing something while we had the time!  And you know what?  It felt great!  After about 30 minutes at the park we headed home because it started getting dark and we still had spelling words to practice, a shower to jump into, and some teeth to brush before bedtime!

I have tracked my calories today and I think I did pretty good considering I had to eat out for dinner.  Here is how my day turned out:

Breakfast:  Cereal w/skim milk (175 calories)
Snack:  TLC Bar (130 calories)
Lunch: Peanut Butter (only 1/2 TB) and Blueberry jelly sandwich (250 calories)
Dinner:  Chic-Fil-A Chargrilled Sandwich (which is only 300 calories) & Small Fries (270 calories)
Snack:  Cereal w/skim milk (150 calories)
Snack:  Apple slices (30 calories)
Total calories for the day:  1305 calories

So far my arm band shows I have burned 2312 calories, walked 4617 steps, done 35 minutes of moderate activity, and am currently burning 2.2 calories a minute.  That means I met my goal of a 1,000 calorie deficit so I feel pretty good about that!!  Woohoo!!!

Cristian did not fall asleep until about 9:30 tonight.  He was a complete monster today.  I don't know if he didn't get enough sleep or if it was the creepy full moon but he was brutal.  It seemed liked EVERYTHING set him off into a fit.  Well, I guess he is entitled to a bad day like the rest of us too...:)  But, I sure hope that tomorrow is a better day because I really do want this intense headache I have now had for over 1 week to go away..:(

Oddly enough, I have been craving cigs of all things lately.  Isn't that horrible?  I haven't smoked in like 2 years but for the past couple weeks I have been seriously craving cigs.  Of course, I would never smoke again no matter how much I crave it, but I thought it was odd that I actually craved it.  I didn't even crave those cancer sticks when I was a smoker!  Hmmm....stress maybe?  I don't know, it could just be that I am crazy!

I am excited about something I am putting together starting next week!  Lara and I had done a body bootcamp class (5 weeks) when I worked for Dave & Buster's about 6 years ago and we loved it.  It is definitely a kick your ass workout but it was SO good.  You got a full body workout and really felt the results of your hard work.  I remember after my 1st workout I hurt SO bad that I couldn't squat!  But, it was by far the best workout I have ever done!  So, I had this crazy idea that 3x a week we should take Cristian to the park and use the open field there by the playground and do our own body boot camp workout class!  Now that it will be cooling off it is the perfect time of year for it.  I still have the list of all the exercises we did and will lead it switching from cardio to get the heart rate up to strength exercises with free weights and then the last 15 min of the hour workout is for abs.  I have a friend who said she would join us which is AWESOME!  Yeah Marie!  This will be just the mix of variety and challenge that I need to really get myself in shape!  If anyone in the area wants to join us we are going to do it on Tue, Thu, and Sat.  The more the merrier!

A friend stopped by for a brief visit this evening about 9ish to give Lara a hug and check in on her.  How sweet is that?  She is just  a sweetheart and I'm sure it meant a lot to Lara.  Hitting the sack today before midnight.  Now I know that is a record for me!  My body won't know what to do with the 6 hours of sleep I am giving it :)
